Connor and Brittany’s wedding in Tuscany will always be one of those experiences that changed me — not just as a photographer, but as a person. What began with their engagement session here in North Carolina turned into a beautiful three-day celebration in Italy, surrounded by rolling hills, historic architecture, and the kind of joy that only comes from being fully present with the people you love most.

From the moment I met them, their connection felt effortless. Warm, playful, and deeply rooted. After their engagement session in NC, Connor and Brittany reached out about bringing me along to Italy to document their destination wedding weekend, and it was an immediate yes. Being trusted with such a meaningful chapter of their story, especially in a place as iconic and romantic as Tuscany, was an honor I didn’t take lightly.

Their wedding unfolded over three intentional days, allowing space for slow moments, genuine connection, and the kind of celebration that felt both elevated and incredibly personal. Tuscany has a way of doing that — it invites you to breathe deeper, stay present longer, and truly soak in what’s happening around you. Every event felt thoughtful and relaxed, yet beautifully designed, reflecting who Connor and Brittany are at their core.

One of the most impactful parts of the entire experience was their planning team. They were not only incredibly organized, but also so welcoming and kind from the moment I arrived. As someone traveling internationally to photograph such an important weekend, that level of professionalism and warmth made everything feel seamless. It allowed me to focus fully on documenting the moments as they naturally unfolded, knowing every detail was being handled with care.

The ceremony itself was emotional in the best way — full of laughter, tears, and those quiet in-between glances that say everything without a single word. Surrounded by the Tuscan countryside and their closest people, Connor and Brittany were completely themselves, which always creates the most meaningful imagery. Nothing forced, nothing overly posed — just genuine connection in one of the most romantic settings imaginable.

This wedding was also my first time in Italy, and it sparked a deep love for Europe that I didn’t even realize was waiting in me. There’s something about documenting love stories in places filled with so much history and beauty that makes the experience feel even more intentional. Tuscany will always feel special because of them — because of their trust, their kindness, and the way they made me feel like more than just their photographer.

Connor and Brittany truly are friends for life. Being invited into their story from engagement session to destination wedding weekend is something I’ll forever be grateful for. These are the kinds of celebrations that remind me why I care so deeply about what I do — preserving not just how a wedding day looked, but how it felt to be there, living it.

And after experiencing a wedding like theirs in Tuscany, I can say with complete certainty: I cannot wait to be back.
