As a wedding photographer based in Raleigh North Carolina, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and documenting countless love stories. Each couple brings their own unique journey and connection to the table, and it’s my honor to freeze those moments in time for them to cherish forever. One exceptional love story is Maddy and Eric, who hold the heart of their relationship in the magical place of Bald Head Island. With their wedding date set for 2024 at the historic Merrimon-Wynne House in Raleigh, North Carolina, Maddy and Eric decided to pay homage to their dating years by having their engagement session at the very spot where their journey took a beautiful turn – Bald Head Island.

From the moment I met Maddy and Eric I knew we would be a great fit for each other, we spent their engagement session laughing, riding around in their golf cart, eating and talking about all the wedding day details! Maddy and Eric took me to the exact spot they got engaged and it was such a private, beautiful and special location for the backdrop of some of their engagement photos!

Maddy and Eric are STUNNING, and truly so in love, they are magnetic and just balance each other out so well. I cannot wait to celebrate them next year at their wedding alongside all their favorite people!
